SUMMARY:Software Carpentry: R Beginner
DESCRIPTION:Would you like to improve your research process by learning how
to program with R and automating analysis and plotting\, but never had the
opportunity to actually learn programming in a structured way? \n\nThe VU
and UvA are organizing a Software Carpentry workshop that will help
programming novices to gain fundamental software skills. The Software
Carpentry workshop is a 4-half-day\, hands-on training that will cover
basic programming like automation\, data cleaning\, and data visualization
with R - everything you need to start your research programming career! The
course finishes with an example project and support to start using your new
skills on your own projects.\n\nFor more information look at the event
page. You can find instructions there on how to install the software we
will be using.\n\nThe Software Carpentry course is a multi-day event
 consisting of 4 half-days:\n\n\n	Tuesday 30.09.2026 (10:00 - 15:00

to 1 EC\, distributed by Edubadge.\n\n \n\nNOTE: The location will be sent
to all those who sign up. You only need to sign up to the first day of the
