Bytes & Bites: Datahack In-Person
Bytes & Bites is hosting it's first ever datahack!
Researchers are looking for help with their datasets and your work could end up being the subject of their next paper!
Bring your programming skills and work on a real research dataset and whether you:
- Develop a tool
- Visualise it in a unique way
- Perform an analysis
or
- Find some quirks of the data
you could be academically compensated! If not, at least you had some free pizza and wrote some code :)
The event is from 11-17:00 and you can drop in any time, just remember to bring your laptop! Researchers that are available will be there for questions about their dataset, project, and the topic in general.
As with all Bytes & Bites events, there will be pizza and soft drinks!
The datahack will be hosted in MF-A311

Hi there, I work in the library as the research software engineer. Basically I help researchers and students learn how to program, make tools for people, and answer questions about coding. I used to work as a chef, so I am also happy to ask questions about cooking and food!
