Bytes & Bites December: Advent of Code In-Person
It's almost the winter holidays and for Bytes & Bites that means one thing, IT'S TIME FOR THE ADVENT OF CODE!
What is Advent of Code? Advent of code is an annual coding challenge created by Eric Wastl. It's like an advent calendar for coding challenges containing 25 daily programming puzzles, released once a day between December 1-25. Coders from all skill levels can participate, from coding beginners to experienced developers. You can solve problems in your programming language of choice!
Join us to work on the challenges together, in a team, or go it alone in the company of others fuelled by pizza!

Do you want to meet other researchers, improve your programming skills, or ask questions related to programming? Pick up your laptop and come to Bytes & Bites. At Bytes & Bites anyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or advanced programmer, whether you write in R or in C++.
And of course, you can't program and work with "Bytes" without any tasty "Bites"!

Hi there, I work in the library as the research software engineer. Basically I help researchers and students learn how to program, make tools for people, and answer questions about coding. I used to work as a chef, so I am also happy to ask questions about cooking and food!
