Panel Discussion: Is AI the end of online survey data? In-Person
What if you could create plausible survey data with a few clicks?
What if bots influence online surveys to push a certain narrative?

With the introduction of AI, low-barrier online data collection methods are experiencing an existential new threat to their integrity.
Join us for this panel discussion on the impact of AI on the research integrity of online surveys. We'll be discussing how the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (both by bots and human participants) to complete surveys is compromising the integrity of research data. We will analyze whether the trend to simply collect more data still leads to better research outcomes when data authenticity is at risk or if a pivot into a new way of research is required.
